Officer
Droop-peak or field service cap (whichever may be prescribed by the Battalion Council, or, in the case of an unattached Company, by the Commanding Officer), with officers ‘ crest attached , gloves and walking-stick. If the droop -peak cap is adopted, a Captain wears one silver star fixed in the middle of the seam of the cap above the badge, and a Commandant two silver stars, which are p laced above the badge, and on each side of, and half an inch from the seam. If the field ser vice cap is adopted, officers above the rank of lieutenant wear two silver buttons in front of the cap, and other officers two black buttons. With this uniform officers shall wear dark lounge suit, and white collar and black tie. Tn. place of a lounge coat, an officer may wear a blue tunic with B.L.B. lapel badges . Subject to Battalion regulations, a B.L.B. waistbelt may in each case be worn.
Warrant Officer
The uniform shall be that prescribed for officers, except that instead of officer’s cap badge a special badge, to be obtained from Headquarters, shall be worn on the cap and collar.
The following badges of rank will be worn 6 inches from the bottom of the cuff on each sleeve:
1. Division and Battalion Warrant Officers.
Sergeant-Major – Officers’ cap badge.
Quartermaster-Sergt. – Officers cap badge with Good Service Star 1 inch above.
Instructors – Officers’ cap badge. with badge of the subject for which he is qualified as Instructor 1inch above.
2. Company Warrant Officer.
As above, with the exception that in place of the officer’s cap badge a special eight-pointed star will be worn.
Chaplain
A Chaplain wears a Captain’s cap, with walking-stick and gloves.
