Lifeboy Uniform

The book ‘The Boys’ Life Brigade-Its Aims and Organisation‘ by R. Hall and D.L. Finnemore stated: The uniform is simple and inexpensive, the only compulsory part being a metal badge to be worn in a school cap of dark blue; but the optional uniform of a dark blue cap with metal badge, saxe blue jersey with woven badge, and dark blue shorts.

Male leaders worn the BLB Officers uniform with the Lifeboy cap badge in place of the BLB cap badge and collar badges.

Female leaders wore the Girls’ Life Brigade Leaders uniform with the Lifeboy collar badges.
