140th Anniversary Junior Sleepover

Over the weekend of the 7th & 8th October, nearly 2,000 Juniors across 100+ locations around the UK took part in the sleepover weekend, in celebration of the 140th Birthday.

Sleepovers took place in all corners of the country, including in some very special locations, such as castles, trampoline parks, adventure centres, church halls & even South Africa!

The ‘Juniors 140 Sleepover’ saw a huge number of Juniors come together in celebration, all taking on similar programmes across the country. The sleepover programme included party themed minute to win it challenges, our Juniors 140 quiz, toasting marshmallows, the sleeping bag prayer, litter picking, a pizza party and more!

One of the highlights of the Juniors 140 Sleepover, was the ‘Online Gathering’, which saw 1500+ Juniors come together on zoom, helping to bring 80 locations together at the same time. Some fun on the spot challenges were issued as well as the opportunity to learn a card trick from Christian magician, Paul Brown.

Across the weekend groups were encouraged to send in photos & updates from their location, which could then be shared with the rest of the 100+ sleepovers. Well over 1,000 photos were submitted, all showing Juniors getting involved with the sleepover programme and creating some incredible memories.
