Colin Swinton

Colin has a degree in History and Anthropology and is the Boys’ Brigade Archivist, Archivist for the Global Fellowship of Christian Youth, and Trustee of The Boys’ Brigade Archive Trust.

As a boy, Colin was a member of the 16th Harare Company, before moving over to the 1st Harare Company, taking over as Company Captain, for a number of years, whilst also holding the position of Honorary Secretary of The Boys’ Brigade Zimbabwe. Colin has also had the opportunity to attend many BB events including World Conference meetings and international Camps and gatherings.

Colin is author of ‘Towards a True Christian Manliness – A history of The Boys’ Brigade Zimbabwe’, as well as publishing editor of a number of recent publications for The Boys’ Brigade Archive Trust.

Heritage is the newsletter of The Boys’ Brigade Archives. Volumns 1 and 2 were published in print form by the BB Archive Members Association. Volumn 3 onwards is a digital newsletter sent to supporters of the BB Archives monthly.
