BB Gazette Vol.14 No.2 – The Brigade Executive has awarded the Cross for Heroism in the following case;—To Private James Bew (aged 14), 1st Middlesbrough Company, for rescuing a Boy from drowning in the Albert Park Lake, Middlesbrough.
