Gardner H – 1908
BB Gazette Vol.17 No.2 – The Brigade Executive have awarded the Cross for Heroism to Corporal Herbert Gardner, aged 15, 1st Kilkenny Company, for saving a Boy from being run over by a horse and cart at Camp at Bronley, Kilpedder, on 5th August, 1908. Corporal Gardner was himself badly injured in effecting this rescue.
