Washington H – 1906

BB Gazette Vol.15 No.4 – The Brigade Executive have awarded the Cross for Heroism to Private Harry Washington, aged 16, 3rd Halifax (Luddenden Foot) Company for attempting to save a Boy from drowning in the river at Luddenden Foot, on 29th September, 1906.

Newspaper articles report a second rescue by Harry Washington in October 1906.
